Where Can You Earn from Snapchat? Here’s the Full List of Eligible Countries

If you're a creator on Snapchat and constantly wondering —
"Is my country even eligible for payouts?"
You're not alone.
Since Snapchat changed its monetization structure, a lot of creators have been confused about whether they're eligible to earn from Spotlight, creator funds, or other monetization programs.
That’s exactly why I decided to break it all down for you — with the most recent updates.
🌍 First Things First: Not Every Country Qualifies
While Snapchat is available globally, not all countries are eligible to receive payouts directly through Spotlight or other monetization initiatives.
Snapchat currently offers payouts to creators in select countries only. So, if you’re putting in the work but not seeing anything in your Crystal tab, this could be the reason.
📝 What Snapchat Says About Eligibility
To receive a payout from Snapchat's programs like Spotlight or Crystals, you must:
Be at least 16 years old
Be a resident of an eligible country
Have a valid and verified payment method (via Hyperwallet)
Submit any required tax documentation
Comply with the platform’s community guidelines and rules

💬 What If Your Country Isn’t on the List?
If your country isn’t eligible right now:
You won’t be able to receive Crystals or Spotlight payouts
But — you can still monetize via affiliate marketing, product links, collaborations, and more (which I cover in my Snapchat passive income guide)
I’ve personally worked with creators from non-eligible countries who’ve built solid income systems through alternate routes. It’s still possible — you just need the right structure.
Even if you’re in an eligible country, Snapchat doesn’t pay everyone automatically. You must still:
Get views/engagement
Create original content
Follow their monetization and Spotlight submission rules
If you’re unsure about where you stand or want help figuring out how to still monetize your Snapchat account even if you’re outside this list, feel free to check out my blog or eBook — I’ve laid out everything I’ve learned from years of experience and managing multiple accounts.
